The historic center of Asunción serves as the vibrant heart of Paraguay, poised for revitalization to reclaim its status as an economic, social, and cultural hub. In our comprehensive analysis of the area, we focused on four key themes: active mobility, shared street use, universal accessibility, and nature-based solutions. Our study delved into the intricacies of the street network, existing cycling infrastructure, public transportation systems, parking facilities, and urban voids. Additionally, we assessed the availability and condition of green spaces, land use patterns, demographic trends, and the state of streets and sidewalks. This analysis were the base for the strategic plan.
